Description

Nepal is first of all famous for being home to the highest mountain on earth, the Mount Everest. One of the most breathtaking experiences is watching the sunrise in the cloud free skies of the Himalaya Mountains. But also the experiences of the Buddhist and Hindu cultures as well as the Nepalese's hospitality attract tourists to this unique country. Friends of nature will enjoy the densely forested jungles with their extraordinary flora. Through volunteer work you have the chance to not only get to know life as a tourist in Nepal; you will also receive a unique insight into the Buddhist and particularly the Hindu way of life.

Due to political turmoil Nepal was exposed to economical stagnation for a long time. The majority of the population is farmers or work in the agricultural sector and especially people in rural areas are often very poor. Foreign aid and help is needed more than ever after the country became a republic. Help to rebuild this beautiful country and make friends with the warmhearted and kind Nepalese!
