The HIV/ AIDS epidemic in Cameroon hit the country very hard with some 12% of the population infected. Volunteers are strongly needed for community work; work in orphanages and schools etc. as well as for educational and consulting campaigns. There will be trainings where you will have time to exchange experiences with other volunteers.

Accommodation and Meals:

Volunteers are usually accommodated by hosting families. You will receive three meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) there and eat together with the family. Hence you get to know the eating habits of Cameroonians and you will receive an intense insight into the culture of Western Africa.
