Renovation Project in Ghana
In this project you will really get your hands on effective work that will help to develop the community. Volunteers have the chance to help building public toilets, libraries and other public utilities (schools, hospitals, community centers etc.). Other activities may be painting school buildings or walls of public buildings. These volunteer positions are challenging, exciting and fun loaded. Previous knowledge is not needed. You can just jump into a project for cultivating gardens or building clean water systems and you will be sure to do a great job. However you should be willing to work hard as well. You will get in contact with the local people, whose standard of living you help improving through your work.
Accommodation and Meals:
You can live with a host family, where you will receive meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) every day. Hence you will get to know the eating habits and the culture of your open-hearted host family. It is not a problem, of course, if you prefer staying in an accommodation for volunteers.
