Description
Ghana offers beautiful beaches, lagoons, waterfalls, great national parks and so much more. As in many other West African countries you will find tropical rainforest inhabited by an interesting fauna and flora. Through your voluntary aid you will get to know the very diverse cultures of Ghana. 79 different languages are spoken by more than 100 different population groups. In this country you will experience Christians, Muslims and African natural religions living peacefully together.
Even though Ghana is one of the poster children of African countries and it became the first independent state in Africa, the population faces many challenges. Typical problems of developing countries like poor school education, high rates of HIV, bad medical provision and low employment rates need also be solved in this country. Do something and give aid to those exceedingly hospitable and warmhearted people of Ghana!
