This Primary School is located on a hill, approximately 30 km away from the main road.  It has 198 pupils and 7 teachers.  The school consists of 9 class rooms and one nursery. Volunteers are welcome to help solving some of the many short comings. Some of them are the bad infrastructure, the lack of clean drinking water, missing windows and doors in the class rooms as well as the danger of infectious diseases due to the dust as class rooms do not have cement floors. The main task is the renovation of the school building. Additionally, you can encourage the community members to support the construction work and the provision of supplies. Hence, you will receive an insight into the culture of the Akamba and the challenges of a third world country.
