The foundation of a private school at the Lake Bosumtwi has been in planning since summer 2007. Exact construction plans and a suitable estate are already available. This "Private Primary School" is intended to give room to a maximum of 200 children between the ages of 6 to 13 years. The school curriculum is currently developed by teachers from Munich in cooperation with Ghanaian teachers. The curriculum is strongly following the Montessori Pedagogic which offers the children a lot of space for creative and action-oriented learning.

Depending on sponsors and donations, the launch of the construction works will be in early 2009. As the project is not planned to be a once off investigation, constant financial support is needed. The project aims at enabling all children around the Lake Bosumtwi to benefit from education and therefore tries to keep expenses low for their parents.

In the first week at the school you will get an introduction to acclimatize. You will monitor the teachers and prepare your first lessons after consultation with the teachers.
