Indonesia is the largest insular state and is one of the most populous countries in the world. Flora and fauna is shaped by a large variety of species. You can find the biggest flower in the world, the Rafflesia, and also a few of the smaller orchids. Furthermore, there are rain forest areas in Papua and you can find a lot of sandy beaches in all parts of Indonesia. A lot of different animals live on the islands, for example the orangutan on Borneo or the saurian of Comedo. You will get to know a lot of different cultures due to the county's ethnically diverse population. You can visit two temple complexes belonging to the World Heritage Sites, Borobudur (Buddhist) and Prambanan (Hinduistic) on the main island Java.
