Internship as Junior Developer

About us:

We are a web development company approaching its 4th year in business. The business has successfully managed to steer its way through the recession and is at full capacity in terms of resource. The company specialises in building bespoke content management systems but has also been involved in providing web service technology and server processes. Clients come from a broad spectrum of fields ranging from small high street shops and restaurants to large London based international companies.

Tasks

A junior developer is required to help with existing projects and can expect commercial experience almost immediately.

Skills needed:

Junior Developer Job requirements (must haves):

• Strong programming skills (must have OOP experience).
• Experience in PHP, .Net, HTML, Javascript
• Driven, motivated and trustworthy individual
• Professional attitude and willingness to learn

Preference given to those with knowledge of:

• MySql, MsSQL databases (design and building)
• XML, RSS experience
• JQuery experience
• Web design skills (including knowledge of css)

Skills to be acquired:

Excellent opportunity to gain lots of commercial experience right from the beginning. The intern will be involved in existing projects and will gain valuable knowledge about management systems and web service technology.
