Internship in Financial Processes

About Us:

We are a leading provider of repair and overhaul services of landing gear, flap tracks and carriages, hydraulic systems and other components for commercial aircraft, helicopters and other aircraft. Our customers include major international airlines and air transport fleets.

 

Tasks:

  • Rescheduling/Reorganization of month end closing process
  • Document and analyse the current month end closing processes
  • Propose changes/improvements for the proces
  • Based on this create a month end schedule for the finance team with all internal deadlines / tasks
  • Create and implement performance tool for month end closing process (Time, cost, quality)
  • Based on the monthly schedule start with the preparation of the year end closing process in Oct/Nov.
  • Set up schedule for year-end closing process/actions
  • Information/Communication within finance team and others
  • Standardized documentation and communication with PWC

 

Skills Needed:

The person should be someone who has a genuine interest in Project Management, Logistics and Lean Manufacturing with a financial or accountancy background.

Period: Minimum 6 months

 

Financial Support: The student will receive a monthly allowance of 350 GBP. Accommodation expenses are provided and cover the living expenses (Gas, Electricity, etc.)

 

PLACE OF INTERNSHIP: Hayes, Middlesex, Greater London

 

OFFICE HOURS: Monday to Friday 09.00 to 17.00 hrs
