Internship description:

Referral Scheme

Update database
Update promotional material when needed (driver info, application form etc)
Receive online application form online and answer questions
Monitor and send out rewards
Email updates
Track driver referrals

Merchanise

Organise t-shirts/merchandise in retail areas and storage
Maintain records of stocks and sales
Create promotional material to sell merchandise
Receive and post merchandise from online orders

Brochures/Promotions

Help maintain and monitor brochure stocks
Post brochures around New Zealand to hostels and travel agents where needed
Help proof new brochures/promotional material
Laminate new posters

Translations

Help translate any promotional material into German
Regularly answer questions via website that come through in German

Customer Surveys/Market Research (ongoing)

Review and analyse customer surveys/feedback where applicable.

Website

Search for listings and link opportunities
Check rankings and customer comments and questions on websites i.e. Lonely Planet thorntree, backpacker board, rankers.co.nz
Research ways to target German market better via the web i.e. any travel sites, links or community sites we can get involved with
Write travel articles and maintain travel blog.

Requirements:

German native speaker
Advanced English writing and speaking skills
Studies in Tourism, Marketing or Business Administration
Team worker, communicative
Creative
